About Suffolk Smallholders Society
Our History
Formed thirty years ago, we are non- profit group of like minded people interested in smallholding, self sufficiency, allotments, fruit and vegetable growing and animal husbandry on a small scale.
Our Members
We have a varied membership, ranging from people with a tomato plant growing on the window sill to smallholders and small farmers with tens of acres to keep them busy.
Most live in Suffolk but we also have members in Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex.
Our Events
The Society runs a varied diary of training events (From group sessions to one to one), regular open days to members properties (called Nosey Sundays) and access to an online community forum.
